Ready to take control!
This is a big step. Sober living can be scary. It can be frustrating. It can be infuriating. But that's OK - as long as you are ready to do what it takes to begin a new life of sobriety and faith. You are about to embark on a lifelong journey. You will experience emotions, relationships, the ups and the downs, the high and lows. But will feel them on a whole new level - a sober level. Guaranteed, it will not be easy. But, rarely in life are things that are truly worth it easy. You will learn you have much more inner strength than you ever imagined. You will feel pain, guilt and remorse. But you will also go through feelings of acceptance and joy as you grow in your sobriety.
All you have to do is be ready to take the first step.
Ask yourself a couple of questions:
1. Am I willing to do whatever is necessary for my addiction recovery - including severing certain relationships, working on myself first and exploring a closer walk in Faith?
2. Am I getting and hoping to remain sober for myself first? (In other words, am I doing this to please someone else?)
3. Am I willing to give up my old lifestyle completely?
4. Where will I be in two years if I remained on the path of addiction?
5. Am I truly ready to be born again and commit myself to being the best person I can possibly be?
Now is the time to be truly honest with yourself and those around you. Samaritan Works is designed to help you navigate the stormy waters of recovery.
But you, ultimately, have full control of the rudder. Your decisions and your dedication to the principles of sober living will determine your success.
Now that you have made the decision to live a sober, faith-filled life, contact us at 937.638.4545 and together we can explore the options which will best work for you.
